A few words about Albinas stasiukynas,
The Founder
Albinas Stasiukynas was born on June 14, 1941, in Dzūkija, near Lake Meteliai, in a large family. His childhood was marked by difficult times – from 1946 to 1953, his father was deported to Siberia during Soviet repressions. Albinas began his professional path in the trust of restaurants and canteens, later working as the warehouse manager at the Kaunas Aleksotas base. In 1964, he got married and still lives with his wife, together nurturing and taking care of their hotel and restaurant “Pas Poną”. A cheerful and warm-hearted person who always shares sincere advice or a witty joke.

The History starts over 30 years ago, when albinas started his business…
How it all started
Opened in 1990
The company “Pas Poną” was opened and officially registered. At that time, the current hotel building did not yet exist. Everything operated in a street-side building that had previously served as a public service pavilion. In the newly opened company, there was a hair salon, a television repair workshop, and most of the premises were sewing rooms where jeans were made. The staff count was 20 people. As Albinas says, “Clothes were cheaper than spoons.”

After some time, the hair salon and television repair premises were replaced by a grocery store.
bar and café
As the prices of clothing and fabrics increased over time, while the number of spoons decreased, the sewing workshop was closed and replaced by a bar and café, which warmly welcomed both locals from Rumšiškės and passersby. One of the visitors was Vytautas Landsbergis, the first leader of the restored Republic of Lithuania.
hotel and restaurant
The main building of the current hotel and restaurant was constructed and opened its doors.
banquet hall AND a swimming pool
Next to the main hotel and restaurant building, an additional structure was built, featuring a banquet hall, a swimming pool, and extra rooms for hotel guests.
wooden building
An authentic wooden building from Dzūkija was transported and fully restored. It now houses an additional hall that awaits your celebrations.
